To date we have no response to several user requests and the subsequent suggestions we made for someone to try VirDIS on a Mac (running Windows). There is no reason why this should not work that we know of but our Mac knowledge is very limited. What is required is a Mac with an Intel processor, free PCI Express slot, something like 'Boot Camp' from Apple so that the VirDIS device driver will load and a copy of Windows. We are ready to assist anyone wishing to try this and report back.

Respectfully, I would hardly classify that as “VirDIS on Mac”. PCI slots on Macs are few and far between, and Macs tend to run macOS.

With the announced switch to ARM-based CPUs, the future of Windows on Mac hardware is, to put it mildly, “uncertain”.

You have a point - I should append 'hardware' to the title. Also, I thank you for the head's up about the switch to ARM-based CPUs - didn't know about that.
