I'd really need a wireless headphone for my 2400. My music room is big and I'd like to move around.
Lots of stuff out there. I need something that will keep the dynamic range, have very little lag and a good range. My only recording unit is the 2400, so bluetooth is probably not going to be an option.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ron

If you wanted to consider Bluetooth as an option, there are Bluetooth units that can be switched between transmitter and receiver. With a pair of them, you could plug into the 2400 headphone output to act as transmitter and the other one connected to you headphones, set as receiver.

You would definitely have lag, but you could use your own choice of standard headphones. Dynamic range might not be incredible either, but you'd be wireless and could freely move around within the range of the device you bought.

I've got a similar cheap setup I've been able to use while I am setting up and testing mics for live recording without an assistant. Beyond this purpose, they aren't so useful for - say while tracking overdubs, for instance, but I have been able to use them for general monitoring when the lag doesn't matter.

I have a couple pair of Sony TMR-RF970R stereo wireless cans. There is no perceptible latency, and the range is longer than typical Bluetooth. The headset is powered by a pair of inductively charged AAA Nimh batteries which can be replaced.
