Hi, im sure you have gone into this before but there is so much info that im a little lost! I want to take all the music ive worked on over the years off the VS2480. I have moved on to a mac based Pro Tools/Logic X system but i dont want to lose everything that is stored on the Roland. Is VirDis the only way? Ive read about SD? Can i take the HDD out of the roland and decrypt the audio elsewhere? I have a v-fire but it only works in realtime so would take a very long time to 'play' every track through to get it off! I still have a pc if thats any help but PLEASE HELP it seems a real pain to try and take my music of the roland! Thank you in advance.

VirDIS is certainly a good way to affect this. It creates 'virtual' Hard Drives on your PC that are exact images of your projects. These are just ordinary Windows files and therefore can be backed up/copied as many times - and to as many places - as you wish. So you should never lose ANYTHING ever again!

Let me know if you need anything else.
