I really like using a "Brian Wilson" background vocal effect that someone had posted here, ad thought someone might have some suggestions of an internal compressor/limiter adaptation they made inside the VSF-2 effects. _________________________ So many drummers, so little time...

RD RD Planeteer Registered: 07/29/02 Posts: 1387 Loc: Michigan, someplace near a swa...	I usually just run a short test vocal, and try the various compressors that are onboard with the VS8F2. Then, if I like it I MIGHT use it across the input channel and marry it. Usually I don't though... (print it right away) preferring to focus on obtaining a clean recording without digital distortion and automate sections for an even performance later. I've also had really good luck with using outboard equipment before the signal hits the 1680. Art Pro VLA comes to mind and it's not expensive.
