Hi Guys,

Could you tell me how to recover a song less than 100MB with VirDIR from a back-up? VirDIR is creating a message error:

30MBs file size is less recommended than 100MB minimum

I tried to choose a different SCSI ID with no luck!

Any ideas?

Thanks Lucas

That sounds like something Bill Casey might have to figure out. I'd recommend getting in touch with him directly.

If it turns out to be a VirDIS limitation, then I'm sure Bill will come up with a way to allow for it in the future.

That is, unless you're going about the operation in the wrong way?

I'm confused by the part of the error message that says "less recommended than the 100MB minimum".
That implies (in my mind) that you're attempting to create a VirDIS HDD, rather than trying to recover a backup disc. But then again, I have a 1680, which I don't think can recover projects from a pc's optical drive, like the 2480 can - I think?? I'm not sure where all of that part of the advancement of VirDIS stands. Sorry for my confusion - but I hope I've helped a bit.
