So that the data from 1680 saved data cd's can be dropped into the 1880 and then remixed or added to inside the box?
I noticed that for the vs2000 and vs 2480 has to adapt the data to be able to work inside them.

Just as with the 2k and 2480, the 1680 data will load into the 1880, but then need to be converted to the 1880 format through the song import routine, if you plan on doing anything more than just playing the file back. Make sure you have at least as much free space on your drive partition as the size of the 1680 song when loaded into the 1880, or it won't be able to convert... or maybe you can assign the partition to do the import to?? I can't recall. But I'm sure the manual says somewhere.
