Hello all...for some reason I can't get my input 8 nor the Guit HiZ inputs to work...channel 7 and the other inputs work...wondering if I might have damaged the input with some of the preamp stuff I had plugged in...anybody have any insights to help me think this through? (Update: plug in 8, nor the HiZ dont rout to any other channels...I can route for example channel input 7 to track 8 just fine. So it appears the input pre may be acting up on channel 8/HiZ)
Anybody ever have this issue?
Also, I just had a thought: can I use an external preamp to feed the channel? (Will be trying that shortly!)
Second update: so, if I run a tube amp in line from elec guitar to channel 8/HiZ, I get VERY low signal but some signal. If I plug guitar into SansAmp pedal, into channel 8 same thing...very low signal with the pre trim far left...here's the interesting thing (and it only happens on channel 8/HiZ)...if I turn up the trim pot at all, there is a thwipping sound and all volume drops to zero...
I'm baffled....
