Buffalo is starting out strong. How do you think they'll do against Miami next week? Buffalo seems to be allowing a lot less points than them.

well Buffalo is overall the far better team but Miami's offense is literally the closest thing to the 49ers in the era of Montana to Rice.

I expect the Bills to win and it may not be close but I seriously think Tua is capable of anything, the Dolphins could conceivably win the Super Bowl.

Great running back, that's for sure. He's a close second to Jim Brown as my favorite RBs go.

OJ running was the most visual athlete ever.

Jim Brown was a man playing with boys.

then there was Gale Sayers.

I was a fullback for a couple years in JV ball before moving to tight end. My running style was to carry a couple people on my back for a 1 yard gain. ha ha

I was inept as playing sports go . My little brother played football and baseball all the time and was much better at it.

My best sport was baseball, I was a power hitter.

Played football cause that was what everybody cared about but I had no speed, my value was that of a team-minded brawler.

Was #2 on the tennis team, won a couple trophies, was a tournament doubles player.

My greatest day playing sports was on a basketball court owned by the dad of the star of our high school team. Don't understand it to this day but for one day and one day only I was unconscious, hitting everything. Because of that day, the star's sister got a crush on me and she was the most beautiful girl I ever had a shot with. Then when I had my chance, I screwed it up. heh

If I was better at sports but didnt have the speed and had the size, I'd just be a lineman - Defense or Offense.

I used to have Gerald Riggs as a RB my 1st year in Fantasy football in college. In his later years, Washington used him for short yardage, to get the ball in the endzone.

He moved like a freight train too, in a straight line. Here's his longest run.

He was Earl Campbell-like.

Bo was much faster, more elusive, but could blow up anyone in front of him.

Riggs and Bo were the same size, but Bo was lighter on his feet. Slipped more tackles. Earl Campbell was a freight train too.

Cowherd has the Birds #4 on the Herd Hierarchy, only behind the Bills, Chiefs, and Brady.

Here's a run by a back that I always liked - Beast Mode Marshawn Lynch:

Guy's good. Never heard of him. He played during my hiatus.

Guess you guys don't like Herschel Walker because of his politics

I didn't like him much when he played. The Cowgirls traded him which brought Jimmy Johnson the players to give them a dynasty.

I got a feeling the Eagles are gonna beat the crap out of Carson Wentz this coming game.

Guy's nickname is Beast Mode because of how he played. He was very good indeed and a lot of fun to watch.

Herschel was one of the most hyped plyers ever and never lived up to it. He was incredibly fast but was a straight up and down runner without much cutting ability/lateral movement. He was a solid receiver for a back and a good returner, but he was supposed to be a great back. He was a good back with a few good to very good seasons, but never great like expected and often relegated to being a returner.

I liked Walker okay as a player. Good but not great. He was on the Eagles for a few years and had one very good year running and receiving.

He was always a strange cat, including how he ate and worked out....supposedly only eating bread and water while training, in which he shunned weight training but did hella calisthenics. It worked, he was ripped, and incredibly strong.

I thought he was good. He had a lot of great RBs to compete with back then. His name was just as recognizable.

This Sunday is going to be an incredible day of NFL.

I am a huge Tua fan and am so interested in how they will do against the Bills. Planning on DVRing that game while I watch the Eagles/Commanders, but I'm going to have to avoid looking at the score in advance.

Here's Jim Kelly, Coach Marv Levy and Bruce Smith at the Titans game. Thurman Thomas expects the Bills to be 3-0 after the next game.

That's the Buffalo I know I guess they did good considering 6 of their starters didn't play. I bet that kicker feels pretty bad right now. Missing a 38 yarder. Geez.
