MScott906 MScott906 Planeteer Registered: 12/16/20 Posts: 36	So I finally got around to hooking up my MV-8000 and 2400 via R-buss - sending tracks from the MV to the VS. I notice that there is some "crackle" in the signal when listening to the input on the VS side. Monitoring the signal on the MV, the crackle is definitely not directly part of the source material. It doesn't appear to be related to clipping. Is there another parameter I need to look at that I perhaps have wrong in the setup? MScott906 MScott906 Planeteer Registered: 12/16/20 Posts: 36	Pretty sure bit settings are equal or it wouldn't work at all. The machines synced transport wise, so the clocks have to be right... Really thinking it might be the caps, but my thought is: If it was caps, wouldnt the analog output be crackly also? Wouldn't both output types be using the same caps in the signal path? Probably I should try swapping out the 2400 with a 2480 and see if it is the same... If it is, than it has to be on the output side, in the MV, if it isn't than it must be in the 2400...
