Well, I got it today. So far, I really like the neck carve, but I'm underwhelmed with other things. For instance, the volume control doesn't turn the guitar all the way off.
So I'll play with it a bit and see what transpires.

I was in Nashville last summer and into Carters guitar I went. so many acoustic guitars I played were ten thousand and up it was ridiculous. my wife's nephew was over in my studio here and said I hate the fact you have so many cheap guitars that are so nice. it made me laugh.
I just bought my daughter the epiphone Inspired by Gibson J45 at a thousand Canadian and it is a lovely guitar. such a character.
Hey, thanks Adam! I'd never heard of that, and I'll try it.
It should solve it. At least, I hope it does Ive had this problem before when wiring my Charvel. I learned it from a diagram that came with the Seymour Duncan Pickup I bought.

Finally had a chance to give it a good workout this afternoon. I got the action to where it plays really nice, and I definitely enjoy the carve of the neck.
The clean amp sounds are really nice, too. The neck sounds warm and wooly, the middle position has a terrific spanky Tele sound, and the bridge is really bright, but livable.
~However~ light crunchy amp sounds are not pleasing at all (to me). The neck goes to mud, the middle is just wincey (makes me wince), and the bridge is awful.
So… sorry, smelly, I know this is going to shock you…
This one is going back

Oh, and yes I know that I could swap out pickups, but why in the world would I want to put more expense and work into an inexpensive guitar when I already have 27 others that I love?

If you can achieve the same sounds from any of your other guitars, I don't see any point in keeping it either. Unless you like it's aesthetics. I heard demos on youtube, and it doesnt sound bad. https://youtu.be/DTeTWFmelxc?t=1344
I bought my Kramer Vanguard brand new from musicyo.com right before Kramer was bought out by Gibson. Anyway, I complained to them about some finish flaws and sent them photos. They were minor, but still flaws nonetheless. They said I could send it back to them for an exchange at their expense or they could just reimburse me 10% of what I paid. I took the 10% and kept the guitar.
