Hi guys.

Cant believe this place is still going and is active.

I'm having an issue with my 2480 in that it will turn on but I get no sound in or out and when talking through a mic plugged in it wont even meter.

Now, I'm guessing that the preamp board has blown but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if there was an easy fix.

Replace 100mf 6v caps on main board. There are ~45 of them. This fixes the pop/crackle on playback, project loading and some other issues.

It takes about two hours of you're good with the soldering iron.

I am beginning to have the same problem with my VS-2480 Does anyone here know of any good repair shop that still works on them?
