ulank ulank Forum Person Planeteer Registered: 02/03/08 Posts: 20149 Loc: Chicago, IL	I mostly despise self checkout stations at stores but will reluctantly use them if I don’t have much stuff, the lines are long and/or I anticipate the person in front of me will be a slow dipshit. Yesterday I went to a grocery store I mostly despise because it’s the only one in the area with a decent seafood selection. I go to checkout and it’s a usual mess in the employee-managed lanes so I sigh and head over to self checkout. I’m ringing up my items and the machine talks to you as you scan your items. For instance, I put my 2 bananas on the scale, entered the produce number off the sticker and the machine says: “Please put your … BANANAS … in the bag.” And then about 3 seconds later, the machine at a lady’s self checkout station behind me proclaims: “Please put your … TAMPONS … in the bag.” Poor lady. _________________________ “This is no place for vacation.”
