Just watch one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, a 2013 flick called American hustle.
The script, plot, acting, and everything about this made it fabulous
I know it’s not a new one, but if you haven’t seen it, you should do so.
Not going to reveal any characters or plots, because it would be spoilers. It is so well done.

I'm not sure whether saying "saw it in the theatre" reeks more of old guy or snobbery at this point, but...yeah--great flick.

Watched it last night and enjoyed it a lot.
Nowhere near "one of the best movies I've ever seen," though.
The first title that comes to mind when I think of "best I've ever seen" is "Lawrence of Arabia." There are a handful of others, but I'd have to give it some thought. "Citizen Kane" is another.
Some of my favorites would not qualify as "best." I love comedies like "Young Frankenstein," "Blazing Saddles," "The Jerk," almost any of Peter Sellers' "Pink Panther" movies I can watch repeatedly and thoroughly enjoy. But "best movies" have to be deeper than that, IMO.

Dave, one of the best is my subjective opinion, individual.
I loved the plot, script, and acting. It was not as visual or action-packed as others, surely.

This thread got me thinking about "great movies."

The Days of Wine and Roses is one movie that I think should be on that list of 100. I noticed 3 or 4 I haven't seen. Also Treasures of the Sierra Madre

I saw American Hustle last night, it was really good, so thanks Marty. Only thing is there were so many cons going on that it got a little confusing in the last hour, but that didn't take any enjoyment away from the movie.

Remember liking Wine and Roses way back in the 60s or 70s... excellent flick... but thinking on it now, it was just so damn depressing.
