My mother dropped me off in downtown York PA every friday when she went to buy groceries and magazines for our general store/gas station/sporting goods store. so I would hit all the rotation of stores that sold records. Bon Ton to McCrorys to Woolworths to Murphy Mart. At Woolworths they had a big bin of really cheapy cutout 45s, 3 for a dollar, so every Friday I'd take home 3 of them. and in that cutout bin, for whatever reason, half of them were Neil Diamond 45s. So one week I bought one, just to see, and I liked it, so I bought another the next week, and the next week, and the next week, and they all, every single one of them were great songs.
