Due to my own “confusion”/limited knowledge: exactly what KVM switch do I need to use two monitors with 2 synced VS2480’s so I only need one keyboard and one mouse ? Thanks !!

I only use VGA and Mouse A / B Data Switch box when recording
from the studio room where I have 1 VGA and 1 mouse to
remotely control the VS's in mixer room. (with extension cables)
And in the mix room I use 2 VGA monitor, 2 keyboard and 2 mouse.

It can be very confusing to handle 2 linked VS-2480 after a few hours
with pressing the right buttons, aiming the right channels for recording,
naming tracks and so on ...
Its easier to do all that with separated mouse and keyboard than with only
one set controlling two VS's
You know witch VS you are working on if you use separate keyboard and mouse.

Someone may have other experience with this, but that is my thoughts on
the subject.

This is the type I use, but only for VGA and mouse :
