I’m guessing none of the band bought those and you’re working with a sound company. Those seem pretty advanced for what you’re typically doing

Very nice speaker if you have $3000 ….for one

We built our first live sound gear -- in the 70's ,, Tri Amped heavy/heavy 5/8 plywood cabs -- not fun in those 10ft Tahoe drifts ~~ to drag to the vans ..Many times 2 different shows a day ...Big metal handles exposed > banging knuckles ~~in the freezing cold -- not the recessed ideas of today....

Wow. They’re pretty spendy, aren’t they?
I just played a fairly big brewery/restaurant gig last weekend. The house system had 6 of these hung from the ceiling, a couple of subs and 6 nice QSC wedges on stage. Somebody dropped some coin.

Yes, they did.

QSC has a few different series of “line arrays” however. The club could have the older KLA series too. Pretty good system also. Fixed array angle, heavy, 12” + horn. $2200 each ish.
This new series is quite impressive. Comes in an 8” or 12” box. It’s more of a real like array. Very light. Easy for one person to set up. The speakers communicate with each other, knowing how many and how to shade them. Loud, don’t use much electricity. They have Dante and completely angle adjustable.

I’d love four of the 12s and the matching subs. It’s the $18k however.

Will try to tape the show -- let you hear the cabinet models he brings to the show ...
