I was slow getting to this. Been busy with my own stuff along with getting the Golden Kayak show together for this year, a major undertaking - so I do my listening when I'm caught up on everything.
I was really impressed with both of the songs, especially Brothers. Same soulful Elliott thing, must be hereditary, is that the word?
The lyrics were superb, mysterious/thought provoking yet really accessible. A rare trait.
I also love that his music seems to have no rules, very raw and unorthodox, I could use more of that myself.
I wish my son got into music, or sports. We named him using both. heh but his world is videogames and discord.
