Sounds fun, but the tuning of the ukulele baffles me. I don’t subscribe to the concept of chord pictures.
I think I would like the woodworking part of it

Marty - guitar chord shapes work except the chord on a soprano, concert or tenor is a 5'th lower than the guitar chord shape and location.
The following is a G chord on the top four strings of a guitar but a C on a uke.
4'th string 5th fret ring finger - C 3'rd string 4th fret middle - E 2'nd string 3rd fret index finger G 1'st string 3rd fret index finger C (same note as on the 4'th string but it's usually not necessary to pay both the 4'th and 1'st string.)
It's a very cool rhythm instrument for playing 3 or 4 note chords on the 1/4s or offbeats (especial a swung offbeat). It doesn't get the in the way of much else.
This is the corniest of corny. George Formby. He played a banjo/uke. It's a uke neck and tuning with a small banjo body - the worst of both worlds.
But check out his right hand technique. If you watch it all the way through, he plays a solo near the end that is fabulous.

Horn player tuning: Give me Bb.
Never mind, Just give me a B and I'll flatten it myself.
Having a 12'th (and anything higher) marker isn't really required on a uke. Up there, the frets are so close that you need fingers the size of tooth picks.

That will be a fun project!

My first guitar is awesome. Second was okay. Those were both electrics.
The acoustic is okay. I was just impressed that it actually plays and holds tuning….haha. I am going to rework the neck during the class….the neck is too thick and needs more C shape, and then I will refinish it again. Hopefully, it will be playing better in the next few months.
Build 2 Electric - doesn’t play as well as guitar build 1 and I didn’t document or share the build. Boo. This guitar has been living under a bed in a guitar case for a few years untouched…..poor thing. I'll take a couple of pics maybe over the weekend.

Fortunately, they only offer builds for electric and acoustic guitars, and ukuleles….no Banjos.
They used too have a bass build, but when I tried to sign up, the teacher said they weren’t doing basses any longer as there was no interest…..so I built electric guitar number 2.
