I am stumped. I want to do this just as the manual suggests and for the very same reason. To burn multiple work mixes for review. The only way I have done it successfully is to have all 3 mixes on ONE set of mastering tracks ... and then burn that. Fine. I'm glad for that, but I want to be able to do it as the manual suggests it can be done. That is: Burn one work mix to the CD (un finalized). That suggests I can ADD burn OTHER mixes to the CD before calling it a "wrap". I assume this means choose "finalize only" in the burn process when I'm read to be done. Having said all that ... IT WON'T LET ME. It ejects the disk and I when I'm ready, I put it back in (in hope of adding the next mix ... unfinalized" to the CD. It doesn't like it. Ejects it. I'm thinking it's supposed to just add it (burn it) to the CD 4 seconds after the end of the last phrase) but it rejects it. I've turned off the CDR mode as I figured that might be the problem. No change. Acts the same way after building a CD image file. Bottom line: I CAN'T ADD MORE WORK MIXES WHEN I PUT THE CD BACK IN THE BURNER. WHY?
Hope I got this explained correctly as it's got me whipped. PLEASE somebody that's been down this road give me some advice. Thanks -Furry-
