Hello all. When I playback audio from the 1880 through Sony mdr-7506 headphones, a static like sound starts to build up as it gets louder, then the sound totally stops. No fading. Just a sudden end. Then a few seconds later it starts again.

I tried running the 1880 through a 90's era aiwa home system and I get a weird staticy popping noise that starts to build up as it gets louder, then the sound totally stops. No fading. Just a sudden end. Then a few seconds later it starts again.

I've ran the 1880 through some JBL 308P's and those get a popping sound but I was going to buy a power conditioner for that. Now I think maybe its all just the 1880.

These sounds happen when playing back audio and also when no audio is playing at all. Pretty much when the machine is powered on and a song is chosen, you will hear the sound and pattern.

I beg for help.

Thank you.

Capacitors seem to be the culprit, according to google and youtupe.
