Hi,

I'm working on my VS2480 for some new tracks and I am now recording vocals with condenser mics. The sensitivity of condenser mics make that it picks up quite some noise from the VS2480. It is this high pitched noise, I think it is the hard drive, or maybe also the fan. Are there ways to reduce the sounds produced by the machine? I do not have a lot for space because I am recording in my room. I now have to record my vocals in the bathroom, which isn't ideal either. Hope to hear from you.

Greetings,
Wessel (AKA WizzleWessel)

The only thing I know is to change the fan for a modern "silent" type. Make sure you get the right size!
