Happy Holidays to all! My projects all begin with me setting a tempo into the 2480 and using MIDI to start the sequencer on an Ensoniq SD-1 workstation. I record the click an audio track, and then I have a time code to cut/paste/punch-in as needed. But recently the SD-1 stopped working, and for the first time I am exploring the 2480's metronome feature as a substitute. Is there any way to record or route the metronome to a track? I know you can select hearing the metronome on playback or record only, but I'd rather record a click to a dedicated track, and then I can mute it as needed. Can I do this with just the 2480 by itself? Thanks to any suggestions or alternate ideas!

I think you can route the "generator" to a recording track (in the routing screen) and the metronome will record there.
