Been awhile since I've been around....in fact, I had to re-register since I forgot my old password and myold email address is long gone. I'm still using my BR8 and just recently got the inspiration bug back. Where the heck is the Mevvvster? I recognize some of the old regulars...Timster,Ebeau,72 Fender, and a few others. I think i bought a SR16 from one of you guys a long time ago.Still don't know how to use it. Good to see a few of you guys are still here. BTW, my old handle was Danno. Here's a link to a couple of my tunes.

Yep, still here. Not as often though. I still use mine but it's just to record. I dump my files into the computer to mix. I just finished a project. There's a thread in the mp3 forum if you want to check it out.

Hola,
I use my BR8 everyday. I, like hardcore dump the tracks into my PC for final mixing. I still think the BR8 is one of easiest machines ever, and makes collabing with the big boys darn easy.
EBeau has packed his BR8 up, and ready to give it away.

Just thought I'd check in.
Upgraded but use my BR-8 on jam session nights when I am just creating on my own. I love the ease of use of the BR-8 and sound quality effects on vocals is nice. Lately most of my jams are non-serious track jammin so the BR-8 is still busy. Turn on and go, no messin around trying to get premium sound. Have had it so long it's been dialed on for years.
Mostly a idea machine. Also midi synch it with my drum machine.
Good jammin to all

I am still here again but only for a short time. I got a lot out of this little machine thanks to this forum. Still have the brate but have recently migrated over to computer. It's kind of a funny coincindence but this place is closing down at the same time I decided to stop using the BR-8.

Hello Guys,
I'm using mine BR-8 frequently, but Zip driver fails last month. I'm thinking to modify my BR-8 changing zip driver to CF card reader. Do you know how can I do that?

I still use my BR8 , I recently picked up an old Yamaha AW16g with I have been using alot. I still like to use standalone recorders for tracking then mix on my computer, so if the song needs only a few tracks, I use the br 8 , if I need alot I use the Yamaha, . I have also started using drum loop wavs ,(Mick Fleetwoods total drumming and BetaMonkey )I assemble them on my comp using acid 6 move then to my standalone, add instruments and vox move back to the comp and mix on Reaper. A bit old school but works great
