I just tried to install 1.25 in my XV-5080 because I couldn't get digital r-bus transfer clean. The OS failed to load from the smart card.

Now my XV-5080 is COMPLETELY DEAD!!

Any suggestions ?!!!??

I formatted the card first in the 5080 then copied the file over to a smart card. The file was a M11G4.ROM filename.

OK! It's solved but NOT by using the SM card. That's the pits. I broke down and used midi files instead and was successfully able to get the XV5080 back on line with Version 1.25

I highly recommend NOT trying to install Version 1.25 with a smart media card and doing it via midi. Make sure you can send SYSEX message to your XV5080 first.

HI.... my xv5080 is dead for intall V1.3 (smartmedia)...I need the software to send MIDI message and install V1.3.... you´ve got a software? Archive Install? archive Sysex??? please sendme a email to fauribe@gmail.com
