Time to breathe some life back into this forum! My studio partner and I are considering purchasing a VM7100 mixer and processor to integrate with the VS2400, but we're hoping to use it for live performances too. Does anyone have one that they're using for gigging out? Just wondering how well it does in a live situation. What are the pros and cons? Any insight to the system would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ray

I use one all the time! Great little mixer......wish it had a few more inputs but still good! Just be carefull about not letting your mic cables put too much presure on the inputs. i have a couple of channels out right now and I believe it's because of broken trces on the circuit board.

I've been using a VM-C7200 and two VM-7200 modules on live gigs for 5 years now. I've done everything from weddings and corporate events to large outdoor concerts of 8000+ and TV shows with it. A great unit.
