Last night, I burned my first song to CD and I thought that was pretty cool. \:\)

Anyway, in the finalizing process, I thought that there would be a way to name the track so when it gets burned to CD, I could have the song's title. On commercially produced CD's, the title and times of the song are burned with the tracks so when you play them on a computer, for example, you can see the titles of the songs. When I played my CD on it, it just showed "track 1" instead of the title. Is there a way to do that??

Thanx in advance,

JS

No, there isn't. What I do is export the finished tracks as wave files (make sure CD mode is off if you use the mastering room), or regular .cda (audio) files into my computer, and then rename the files in the PC. You can then use any CD burning program to burn them to CD. Some CD burners will not support "text"; ie song titles.

By exporting the tracks as wav or .cda files to the computer, naming them, and burning them to a CD will the CD then be the same as a commercially produced, red book standard CD??
