Hokay, I admit that I were drunk when I bawt this, thankin' it were the SP B1, notta Bellwanger.

An' yet, no regretz.

Furst, fur the US$100 at sum lame-o moozik online sooperstore I gotted the mic (mo' inna minnit), a nice hardshell case an' a shock mount an' windscreen.

The windcreen iz a big silly-lookin' foam condumb, whut I think may werk, but I don' fart into mic'z, or uze 'em outside, whut iz whut this loox like it fur.

The shockmout iz servicable an' well-dezigned considerin'... I quickly replaced the lame-o elastix wif my dawter'z heavy-duty hare-bandz, an' it werx hokay.

The mic: well, it'z a cheep Chineez LDC wif a 3-pozichun switch whut iz a HPF, nootral, or a -10dB pad. It loox ver cool in nickle-silver, an' iz nice an' sturdy. It 'pozed to be a 1" gold-sputterd diaghafram wif FET cirkuitry, if that meenz anyfang to ya, whut it kinda doez to me. (Yes, Virginia, 1" iz a large diaghafram, an' the gold sputterin' will not make ya pregnunt.)

I uzually leeve it on the HPF an' uze it fur backing vocalz thru a SP VTB1, vs. my main vox chane of MXL1006 and Meek VC3Q.

In summary, it'z cheep, it soundz good, it loox good, an' it it may be the best thang the Behringer a/k/a Bellwanger cumpany makez.

Ive got one of those too, had pretty good luck with it for the new metal vocals, its got a pretty high spl so I put them up close and let them rip at it, with that monster mic sock it cuts out a lot of the breath intakes. I wasnt going to tell anyone till someone else fessed up first though. Its well worth the bucks, also isnt a bad guitar mic.

You obviously haven't been here long enough to realize that VVM DOESN'T need translation.

a pair of B-1 's were among the very first mics I bought, I have used them for many things and gotten decent results, certainly morethan $100 worth. Haved used them in conjunction (seperate track) with a E845 in a kick when I didn't have a B52.

Have had this mic for years and have recorded lots of vocals with success. We have no regrets here in our offices!

Every once in a while, I search this thread up for a "larf".

I think vvvm pretty much won the internet in post #4.
