My friend Brian who is recently recovering from some pretty serious heart surgery kindly gave me a Benson P-Bass for me to keep and to de-fret for free.
it's nice to slide again

Really cool! I felt like I was listening to a lost track from Dark Side Of The Moon.

Love fretless. I really have gotten lazy....I played nothing BUT fretless for like 15 years....but, the last decade or so, it's been more fretted than not....still every time I listen back to a fretless track I get a kind of smile in my heart that doesn't happen with fretted.
Truth be told, I was thinking just last night how my combo of Stingray and EB Cobalt Flats make the fretted SOUND kinda fretless.
I just was at the local mom&pop....ordered up a set of 5 string Labella flexible flats to restring the fretless. It's got (old as sin) DR steel rounds on it now....can't wait. I feel a fretless revival coming on in my world.

Coolness! What did you use to fill the fret slots? I seem to remember somebody using Bondo (Jaco maybe)?
Dig the tune bro!

I used "hard as nails" wood glue. I applied it with a butter knife, wiped off any excess and let it dry. Once dry it sets hard like epoxy.
Thanks for the listens and comments guys!

Direct into the interface but the signal was sent to an octaver effect and amp simulator
